Svetlana Malyutina and Kirill Elin in Helsinki
Two members of the Center for Language and Brain, Svetlana Malyutina and Kirill Elin, participated in the Corpora for Language and Aging Research 4 conference (27 February – 1 March, Helsinki, Finland). The conference was focused on empirical investigations of older adults’ language use, bringing together psycholinguists and sociolinguists. Svetlana Malyutina made an oral presentation entitled " Good-enough sentence processing in younger and older adults under normal and visual-noise processing conditions": she presented some of the findings of the project on good-enough language processing across the lifespan.
