On October 11, 2021, the staff of the Center held an open seminar in Naberezhnye Chelny on "Neuronal foundations of speech disorders and the development of neuro-linguistic tests". The event was organized within the framework of a scientific agreement with Kazan Federal University.

On October 11, 2021, the staff of the Center held an open seminar in Naberezhnye Chelny on "Neuronal foundations of speech disorders and the development of neuro-linguistic tests". The event was organized within the framework of a scientific agreement with Kazan Federal University.

Olga Buivolova and Victoria Pozdnyakova told practicing speech therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists of the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny, Yelabuga, Zainsk and Nizhnekamsk about the main directions of the Center's work. The main part of the report was devoted to the test developed by the Center's team for screening speech disorders, detailed diagnosis of aphasia, assessment of functional communication and pragmatic skills, as well as batteries of tests for assessing speech function in children. The speakers also examined the predictors of speech function recovery after a stroke and touched upon the problem of low public awareness of aphasia.
