Researchers from the HSE Center for Language and Brain presented reports at the Twelfth Meeting of the Society for the Neurobiology of Language, a community of leading researchers in the study of the neurobiological basis of language.

The HSE Center for Language and Brain opened a new educational track in Experimental Linguistics, invited by the HSE School of Linguistics

In September 2020, the HSE Center for Language and Brain opened a new education trajectory, invited by the HSE School of Linguistics. It is an educational track in Experimental Linguistics, offered to 3 rd-  to 4 th -year students of the bachelor’s programme in Fundamental and Computational linguistics, along with a theoretical and computational track.

The European Master’s in Clinical Linguistics++ (EMCL++) application was selected for funding for the next 6 years

The European Master’s in Clinical Linguistics++ (EMCL++) is the successor of three Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD) editions and will receive funding for the next 6 years. HSE University is one of the associated partners of EMCL++.

The Center for Language and Brain will hold an offsite lesson as part of the "University of Children" program of the Polytechnic Museum

On September 27, at the Center for Language and Brain, an offsite lesson of the "University of Children" of the Polytechnic Museum "Why do people stutter from fear?" At the lesson, students will try themselves in the role of neurolinguists and try to conduct experiments to find out why mistakes sometimes occur in our speech.
