78%

of HSE Research Fellows have cited publication in foreign journals as a priority for their professional activity over the next 2-3 years.

Among the most common professional goals, HSE staff members look forward to obtaining a degree (50%) and a promotion (39%). 3% of respondents intend to give up research work. Only 2% of employees would choose to engage in administrative work.

These results come from a survey of 284 Research Fellows at the HSE research departments in Moscow (20% of all HSE Research Fellows in Moscow), which was carried out by the HSE Centre of Institutional Monitoring.
