arrows were broken during the year in exercises by Spiritum Saeculorum, the HSE historical reenactment club.

Spiritum Saeculorum was established in April 2007 as a permanent platform for students of the HSE and other universities who are interested in historical reenactment in the genre of ‘living history’, as well as in historical fencing and archery.

Club members learn XIII-XV-century European history and engage in re-creating life and culture, as well as military and civilian costumes from the High and Late Middle Ages. They also participate in historical reenactment festivals, tournaments and games.
