ANR-Lab Open Seminar "How to Turn Your First Research into an Article in Q1 Journal"
On October 7 at 15:00, laboratory research fellow Daria Osokina will discuss how to turn one's first research into an article in Q1 journal.
What distinguishes a good term paper from an article in the Q1 journal? What tools should be used to prepare a strong academic text in English? How to fit a year's work into 8,000 words? How to get through peer review without losing faith in humanity? ANR-Lab research intern Daria Osokina will answer these and other questions.
Daria's research team, led by O.R. Mikhailova, prepared an article based on the results of their term paper in the 3rd year of the Sociology program and got into the Q1 journal "Crime, Media and Culture" on the first try with the article "Why Young Adults Consume Media Content About Serial Killers: Evidence from Russia". At the seminar, we will discuss how to prepare the text of an article and increase your chances of getting into the journal as a young, inexperienced researcher, and we will also try to answer your questions.
The language of the seminar is Russian.
