HSE Recognizes Staff Achievements

Maria Dobryakova

At a meeting of the HSE Academic Сouncil on October 31, five members of the University staff were given awards recognizing their achievements at HSE.

First Vice Rector Lev Yakobson was given a gold award. Director for Online Media Maria Dobryakova, Director for Development Programme Irina Karelina, Government Relations Director Valeria Kasamara, and Tenured Professor Marina Kolosnitsyna were all given HSE Class II awards.

HSE awards recognize people who have made an outstanding contribution to the University’s development and reputation through their academic, teaching, or administrative work.

Congratulations!

Hari the Robot Recommends

We created Hari the robot and named him after Hari Seldon, a character who can predict the future in the works of science fiction writer Isaac Asimov. He is based on a machine-learning model that selects news based on the behavioural metrics of HSE website users.

Don’t worry — we don’t collect any personal data for this.

Open Day: The Future Begins Here

On March 2, an HSE Open Day for prospective undergraduates and specialist students will take place — one of the largest and most significant events for applicants, their parents, and the entire university. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with students and representatives of educational programmes, plan their admission process, and immerse themselves in the HSE University atmosphere for a day. The event will be held in Russian.
