Online Orders Now Available at HSE Printing House
Online orders for a wide range of printed products, from business cards to large-scale blueprints, photo books or calendars, are now available on the HSE Printing House website (currently in Russian). You can order and pay online, and collect your order at any one of nine offices located in various HSE buildings. These printing services are available not only to HSE students and staff, but to anyone.
The Higher School of Economics has become the first Russian university to offer a ‘web to print’ service. Moreover, orders can be completed in any size, even non-standard sizes, and any volume, with no minimum order requirements. Printing houses do not usually offer such favorable terms to their clients.
A full list of the products and services the printing house offers can be found on its website. They include simple products such as business cards, photos, postcards, or printed homework assignments, as well as more complex ones, such as paperback and hardcover books, blueprints or posters up to A0 size.
To make an order, simply choose the product or service you need from the menu, indicate the required parameters (format, number of copies, number of pages, type of paper, printing and decoration), and submit the layout file via an online form. The total price of the order will then be displayed, and payment can be completed with a Sberbank card, or via online bank transfer. You will need to register before placing an order. HSE students and staff are recommended to use their corporate email for registration – as this will give them a 10% discount.
The completed order will be delivered to the customer’s chosen office, and they can collect it as convenient.
The printing house’s main production facility is located in the HSE building at 3 Kochnovsky Proezd, room 106, and small copying offices can be found at another nine university buildings.
Simple orders, such as printing and copying in black and white, binding with staples and plastic coils, gluing to a transparent file, lamination etc, can be completed quickly. This means that if you place an order from home it will be ready by the time you get to the university. It can also be done immediately while the client is waiting. Orders involving more complex products or high volumes of copies usually take two or three days to complete.
