Student Organization Registration Has Started
The registration of student organizations started on February 15, 2017. Registered organizations will receive a ‘guaranteed basic budget’ as well as other forms of support, such as the provision of premises, transport services, and information support. You can register via the ‘Student organizations’ tab on the HSE Family website. The forms are in Russian so some help from student buddies might be needed. You can contact also Student Initiative Support Centre directly via email (studsupport@hse.ru) to register your organization while the English version of HSE Family website is currently under development.
After clicking the ‘Student organizations’ tab, HSE Family users interested in funding for a student organization should click the button to ‘Create a student organization’. Students then need to fill in the form, providing information about the organization concerned. After completing the form, the application is then automatically submitted by the Student Initiative Support Centre. The application will be processed by the Centre staff within five days. If the application is approved, the organization is considered registered and appears under the ‘Student organizations’ tab. If any information is missing, the application is returned for revision.
Organizations that have already registered on the HSE Family website will only need to update the sections about their activity. In order to do this, the head of a student organization needs to fill in all the fields on the organization webpage. Only heads of organizations indicated on HSE Family website have access to editing this information about student organizations. If the organization head has changed, but the previous head is still listed on HSE Family, he/she should update this information on the website or contact the Student Initiative Support Centre.
Organizations interested in receiving funding for 2017 should register by March 15, when the allowance of guaranteed basic funding will be determined by the number of registered student organizations.
