The mission of the Master's programme in ‘Applied Linguistics: Foreign Language Teaching and Translation in the Digital Environment’ in the field of ‘Fundamental and Applied Linguistics’ is to train a new generation of applied linguists in the areas of foreign language learning, language teaching, and professional communication in the fields of machine translation and language localisation.

The training programme will be fully online in Russian/English.

Both Russian and international students are invited to participate in the programme.

Another new Master's programme— ‘Producer in the Music Industry’ (fields of study ‘Media Communications’ and ‘Musicology and Applied Music’) —is being implemented by HSE University in cooperation with the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. It combines the study of musical art, production, and management, and will be particularly attractive to applicants seeking a career in the music industry.

An important aspect of the programme is to prepare professionals for key positions in music studios, cultural organisations, and the media and entertainment industry. Graduates will leave with a wide range of skills needed to successfully manage a variety of music projects.
