In October the HSE Faculty of Law and the University of Luxembourg Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance signed a cooperation agreement . Evgeniy Salygin, Dean of the HSE Faculty of Law, spoke to us about this.

Mark Urnov, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Political Science, told us about the results of the negotiations on the launch of joint Master’s programmes between the faculty and American universities, as well as about research plans, reforms of the educational process and Chinese writing.

Mark Manuilov, a second-year student of the HSE Faculty of Management master’s course, told us about a new student initiative –a Russian-American forum involving the HSE, several other Moscow universities and Stanford University. Mark is one of the students who organized this project.

A project entitled "Morality and Trust in Old and New Market Economies" has been running since 2007 as a joint research teaching activity included in the MA Program of Applied Social Research of Markets (head - Prof. V. Radaev) at the Higher School of Economics and the Research Institute for Sociology, University of Cologne, Germany.
In the land of France
The Center for Cooperation with France and French – speaking countries (i.e. the HSE French Center) is one of the most successful departments for cooperation with foreign universities. About 50 students visit France and Luxemburg for studies every year. Irina Maltseva, the chief of the Center, spoke to us about last year’s activities and the Centre's plans for the future.
