Master's Programme in Applied Economics to Be Taught in English

Beginning September 2019, the Faculty of Economic Sciences plans to open an English taught track for the Master’s programme in Applied Economics. The programme will offer enough English-language courses so that a non-Russian speaking student could meet all of the requirements for graduation. Also, for such students, the programme will offer a special research seminar dedicated to the Russian economy and Economics of Development.

The Data Culture project at HSE is celebrating its first anniversary! Its key concept is that all students should possess at least basic competencies in data analysis, since data skills are increasingly becoming an entry-level requirement for professionals in almost every field. More than half of all HSE programmes were involved in the project in its first year. In the following academic year, the project is being expanded to cover all programmes and all students.
