Biography

The title of HSE Honorary Professor was awarded to Alexei Kudrin by the HSE Academic Council on June 26^th, 2009.

Alexey Kudrin is former Finance Minister of the Russian Federation (2000 — 2011) and Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation (2000 — 2004, 2007 — 2011).

The title was granted for a considerable contribution in the development of the HSE and outstanding achievements in the development of conceptual approaches and practical realization of Russian reforms of public finances.
