WORK AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Current project on spatial and socio-economic inequality of Russian mortality; Small areas statistic, spatial and temporal census data comparability. Population census (census methodology, quality assessment); Assessment of disability adjusted life years (DALY) in Russia (burden of external causes of death, regional distribution of burden).

2014- present: Editorial office of Journal «Demographic Review»; managing editor. Support of peer-review process of upcoming manuscripts: search reviewers interact with authors, organization of editorial meetings, record-keeping.

2012: ERM Eurasia, department Impact Assessment and Planning; Mining and oil industry projects’ social impact assessment in accordance with IFC’s Social and Environmental Performance Standards, EBRD’s requirements, managing social due diligence projects.

2007- 2012: Council for the Study productive forces, analytic. Developing of socio-demography part of project and population projections for strategic and development documents for regional and local authorities in Russia; assessment of feasible housing requirements and social amenities for new Gazprom projects; doing research on trends, structure, bottlenecks of freight rail; preparing scientific report for Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

2005- 2006: Institute of General Planning of the city of Moscow, urban planner. Urban planning; preparing analytic reports on land tenure, housing; analysis of the legal framework regarding land tenure, housing, engineering infrastructures; communication with local and regional authorities.
