In the framework of the mission to Latin America, the delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg visited Chile. The university representatives met Vladimir Belinsky, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Chile, took part in the fair 'Education in Russia: Studies without Limits' in Santiago organised by the Russian House and visited the University of Concepción where they discussed possible research projects and directions for further cooperation.

In the framework of the academic mission to Latin America, HSE University-St Petersburg has negotiated to launch joint projects with leading Brazilian universities. Thus, with the University of São Paulo, the first in the QS ranking among Brazilian universities, HSE plans to carry out joint research aimed at supporting biodiversity, developing biotechnologies and solving ecological and social issues. The project also involves students and staff mobility for mutual exchange of knowledge and experience.

In the framework of the academic mission to Latin America, the delegation from HSE University-St Petersburg headed by director Anna Tyshetskaya visited several universities in Mexico. During this trip, HSE signed cooperation agreements with two leading universities: Panamerican University and Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP).

The delegation from Malaysia headed by Zambry Abdul Kadir, the Minister of Higher Education, visited HSE University-St Petersburg on October 10. HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. On November 7, a representative office of HSE University opened in Indonesia. On July 1, more than 1,500 newly qualified bachelor’s and master’s graduates of HSE University-St Petersburg celebrated with their mentors at the campus’s traditional joint graduation ceremony. On March 18, 2022, a delegation from the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in St Petersburg paid a visit to HSE-St Petersburg to meet the campus team, talk with Uzbek students, and discuss possible forms and areas of cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan.
