Dr Manoj Sharma was born in Aligarh, India.
In 1988, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce at the Aligarh Muslim University.
In 1990, Dr Manoj obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA, master of business administration).
In 2012, he completed his PhD in Education Technology at the CMJ University.
2005-2022, Dr Manoj worked as a Director of the International Affairs and Projects at the Amity University, Noida; a Director in E-Learning at all the Amity University campuses.

HSE University Showcases Russian Developments in the Sphere of Artificial Intelligence
HSE University-St Petersburg showcased the national developments in artificial intelligence at one of the largest technological conferences in the Asia-Pacific region (APR)—'IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Conference: Asia-Pacific' held in Indonesia. HSE University was the only Russian representative at the event. The conference was held at one of the leading technical universities in Indonesia—ITS where HSE University opened its representative office in 2023.
HSE University-St Petersburg Hosts 50 Students from Top Indian Universities
HSE University-St Petersburg hosted the Indian Students Week. The event gathered more than 50 students from India. The students represented 15 top universities in the country. In particular, there were representatives of IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, UPES, IIM Amritsar and others. The goal of this large-scale initiative of HSE University-St Petersburg is to introduce talented students from India to educational opportunities in Russia, in particular, HSE educational programmes in four directions: business and economics, design, social and computer sciences.

HSE University Opens Representative Office at ITS University in Indonesia
HSE University-St Petersburg has opened a representative office at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia. The corresponding agreements were reached during a working trip by a delegation headed by HSE University-St Petersburg Director Anna Tyshetskaya.
HSE and Thailand's Mahidol University Sign Cooperation and Student Exchange Agreement
In mid-March 2023, a delegation of HSE University attended APAIE, a major annual educational conference held in Bangkok. At the conference, the HSE representatives organised a session, conducted negotiations with several universities, and met with high-ranking officials from government agencies and international organisations. Furthermore, during the conference, HSE signed a cooperation and student exchange agreement with Mahidol University, one of Thailand's top national research universities.

HSE University-St Petersburg Opens Representative Office in India
HSE University-St Petersburg is opening a foreign representative office in India in collaboration with Swami Vivekanand Subharti University. On December 7, the universities agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, having reached all the preliminary agreements in November.

HSE SPB Day 2022: How It Went
This year, HSE University-St Petersburg's traditional HSE SPB Day event returned in an offline format. It was held on September 11 in the Sevkabel Port creative space. Students, lecturers, the administration and partners of the campus met by the Gulf of Finland to celebrate the brightest holiday of the autumn, which symbolised the beginning of the academic year and an initiation ceremony for first-year students.
