Seminar on Korean folk painting Minhwa
On November 21, Nelly Georgieva-Russ, Associate Professor in the Department of Korean Studies, gave a lecture on Korean Folk Painting as part of a seminar organized by the department.

The event was scheduled to coincide with the public holiday “Hangul Day,” celebrated in the Republic of Korea on October 9.

Students from the Minhwa art club hosted an exhibition
On June 14, 2024, students from the Institute of Asian and African Studies showcased their works at an exhibition featuring Korean folk paintings known as minhwa. The exhibition took place on the 6th floor at 123 Griboyedov Canal Embankment.
