Environment Design

(Previously, Master's Interior Design)

Students in the Environment Design programme at the HSE University Art and Design School learn how to design interiors by accomplishing each consecutive stage of the creative process - from devising an initial concept and planning the layout to making design drawings of space with detailed sketches of the décor and furniture. Students will also study the theory and history of interior design and practise applying different styles. Each academic module concludes with the defence of an individual student project, so that by the end of their studies each student will have created a professional portfolio. This will facilitate their entry into the career.
