Sustainable Business Management
The Master's programme educates a new type of professionals who have competencies in managing corporate sustainability, environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The programme helps students master the tools for managing resilient and regenerative business. It focuses on addressing the wicked problems and grand challenges facing the global business community, as well as measures required to transform organisation management strategies and systems, implement improvements at the department level, organize processes and personal workplaces, and apply modern concepts and tools.

Instruction in Russian with some courses in English
I-Week (International Week on Sustainability) took place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 18-22 March. Students from the HSE Graduate School of Business and —for the first time — ones from HSE-University World Politics Department and the Department of Geography and Geoinformation Technologies took part in the event. 5 people participated in the offline format, 17 were able to join online, and the idea inspirer of the Russian I-Week delegation Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at the GSB Department of Strategic and International Management, continued to be part of the faculty team of this prestigious programme.
In January 2024, HSE students from Moscow, St Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod took part in the Winter School ‘Business and Governance in India’, hosted in Dehradun by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). Having now completed the course, its attendees—participants of the Master’s in Sustainable Business Management at HSE Graduate School of Business—shared their impressions with the HSE News Service.
On November 30, the International Sustainability Week I-WEEK 2023, an event organized by the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Antwerp, was honored with the recognition of "best interdisciplinary course" at the University of Antwerp for its focus on sustainability
