Prices for Accommodation in Dormitories Rise Starting from August 1
As of August 1, 2015, the prices for accommodation in HSE student dormitories in Moscow will increase. This change is due to a rise in utility rates, determined by Moscow city and Moscow region governments.
Students who get a state bursary will be exempt from payments for accommodation and utilities, as previously.
The new accommodation prices will be from 1100 to 1370 roubles per month, depending on the dormitory. The price is calculated on the basis of real consumption of utilities in the first six months of 2015.
These increased rates for student dormitories have been approved by the HSE Moscow Campus Student Council (on July 3, 2015) and the University’s Financial Committee (record No.10, June 25, 2015).
