Oleg Solodukhin Appointed Acting Senior Director for Information Policy

As of August 26, 2019, Oleg Solodukhin, Advisor to the Rector, has been temporarily appointed Acting Senior Director for Information Policy at HSE University. Prior to this appointment Mr. Solodukhin worked as the deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Czech Republic and as an Associate Professor at the Department of Integrated Communications in HSE’s Faculty of Applied Political Science (which has since become part of HSE’s Faculty of Social Sciences).

Oleg Solodukhin will oversee corporate communications, media, marketing, advertising, sponsorship, brand management, sustainable development, internal communications, as well as relations with public, political, non-governmental, and other organizations.

His predecessor, Anton Nazarov, will take on the role of Advisor to the Rector of HSE University and will be dealing with issues related to communication and media industry development, as well as strategic cooperation with large institutional organizations of the field.

Oleg Solodukhin is a well-known public relations expert and political analyst.

He holds a degree in philosophy from Lomonosov Moscow State University and has 15 years of experience in the field of communications.

Mr. Solodukhin has worked in public service (as a specialist of the Council for Religious Affairs), media (as a correspondent and then head of the Post Factum News Agency), independent political consulting, and political and socio-economic analysis.

Since 2003, Mr. Solodukhin has served as Vice President of CROS, a public relations development company.
