The recently renovated building complex at Pokrovka will be welcoming staff and students this September. Here is some information about the dining options in the new building.
The central cafeteria at Pokrovka is already open to staff and students. It is operated by FUSION. Currently, it offers a selection of appetizers, first courses (hot soups), and main dishes. There is also a salad bar where you can make your own salad.
Beginning September 2, there will also be a free flow service, where people can move freely between meal station ‘islands’ and choose what they like without having to follow a particular sequence. What’s more, the new cafeteria will have a WOK station (Japanese, Thai, and Chinese cuisines), a grill station (steaks, shashlik, burgers), a pancake station (pancakes and waffles), and more.
For those who are in a hurry, there will be a take-away station with a variety of sandwiches, sushi rolls, fruit, desserts, and drinks, as well as a Deli area offering ready-to-cook foods and pastries. If you’d rather bring food from home, you can use one of the microwaves available at the cafeteria.
Opening hours of the cafeteria: Mon-Fri, 8:30 to 21:00; Sat, 9:00 to 18:00
Several cafes are set to open at Pokrovka. On the first day of the new academic year (September 2) cafes on the first floor of Building S and on the first floor of Building F will begin operation – there will be tables inside the building, as well as in the South Atrium.
Vending machines in student recreation areas on the 4th floor of Building R and student co-working areas on the second floor of Building N are expected to be ready for use on September 2. If needed, similar machines will be installed on the 3rd and 5th floors of Building R.
