Competition for the Development of Cultural Centre’s New Brand

Applications accepted until October 1

In the new academic year, the HSE’s renovated Cultural Centre will be open in the HSE complex on Pokrovka. We believe it will be a hub for campus extracurricular activities. HSE University invites students to take part in this important milestone and participate in the Centre’s new image.

What You Need to Know about the Contest

The Cultural Centre’s brand is created collectively. All HSE students (except first-year students) who have passed the selection process are eligible to participate. The participants will be brought together in working groups led by experts from leading companies, members of the Association of Branding Companies of Russia and its practitioners.
Eight teams of eight people will get together to work on the project.

The participants will be able to work in the following fields:

  • strategy,
  • copywriting,
  • brand management,
  • account management,
  • design,
  • layout design,
  • motion design,
  • video.

How to participate

Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until October 1. Find @HSEbrandingCCbot on Telegram, click the ‘start’ button, and send the word «УЧАСТВУЮ» ("PARTICIPATE"). Then fill in the form and complete the creative task.

What’s next?

Each of the 8 teams will prepare a concept for the Cultural Centre’s new brand:

  • Brand positioning;
  • Brand name;
  • Brand identity (corporate identity and its implementation on key media);
  • The concept of brand development, implemented in the city landscape and cultural environment.
