Therapy Dogs Come to HSE University

In November and December, several dog therapy sessions will be held in HSE buildings on Staraya Basmannaya and Pokrovsky Boulevard. Students and doctoral students, as well as HSE staff and lecturers are welcome to attend the event.

The Friendly dog room will be open on November 22nd and December 6th in the HSE building on Pokrovka, and on November 29th and December 13th in the HSE building on Staraya Basmannaya. During these sessions, members of HSE will be able to interact with specially trained therapy dogs. The event is organized by HSE Centre for Psychological Counselling.

The HSE Centre for Psychological Counselling held dog therapy sessions on June 20 at Dubki dorm and on June 21 in the courtyard of the HSE building on Khitrovka.

Each session of dog therapy will last 30 minutes, and no more than 10 people are allowed per session. If you plan to take part in the session, please register in advance.

Dog therapy is a psychotherapy method for improving social adaptation and mental health through interacting with a dog. Therapy can help people to relieve tension and to organize their thoughts.
