Medals and Notes of Acknowledgement: HSE Faculty and Staff Members Receive University Awards

On February 21, an award ceremony was held at the HSE Cultural Centre on Pokrovsky Boulevard. Faculty and staff received medals for successful work at the university, as well as notes of acknowledgement from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
Following a directive of the Rector, 35 HSE faculty and staff members were awarded Acknowledgement Medals for their professional achievements and dedication.
At the beginning of the ceremony, before awarding the medals, Yaroslav Kuzminov thanked his colleagues. ‘An HSE veteran is a person who has been working here for more than 10 years. And we have a lot of veterans here—almost all our colleagues with whom we started working 10, 15, 20, 25 years ago. I think this more than anything else tells us something about our university. We're all together, and we don't want to leave this place. I am very grateful to you all.’
HSE Academic Supervisor Evgeny Yasin also took part in the ceremony and greeted the recipients. ‘I am very happy to see you all and I am happy to be with you. Thank you!’
HSE veterans were awarded Acknowledgement Medals. Andrey Klimenko, Academic Supervisor of the Institute for Public Administration and Governance, received the medal ‘For Contribution to the University Development’.
In addition, three HSE staff members - Mikhail Lisyutkin, Assistant to the Rector, Elena Metelkova, Adviser to the Rector, and Elena Odoevskaya, Senior Assistant to the Rector – received notes of acknowledgement from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
