HSE University Student May Have COVID-19
An HSE University student living in Dorm No. 7 in Pervy Saratovsky Proezd has likely contracted COVID-19.
The student is in satisfactory condition and remains in the dorm’s medical facility under medical supervision. The student’s three roommates have been isolated in special rooms in another dorm at Vavilova Ulitsa. Students living in the same wing of the building with the sick student have been quarantined.
The premises have been disinfected, and catering services for the isolated students have been arranged: they are able to order set meals from the first-floor cafeteria. Additionally, three microwave ovens to heat food have been installed in the hall. The building’s wing has also been equipped with a sterilization lamp that operates 24 hours a day and a touchless sanitizer dispenser.
Personal protection equipment has been provided for the dorm students and staff. The dorm administration is taking all the necessary measures to support the students and is in compliance with all Rospotrebnadzor regulations.
