Module 3 and 4 exams in full-time degree programmes are over. This is the first time that the exams have been held fully online.
Students were assessed in the total of 4.5 thousand courses. For some of the disciplines, teachers adjusted the assessment criteria and the students received their final grades without taking an exam.
Most of the exams were administered by the teachers themselves without the use of proctoring software. Proctored exams were held for 700 courses (less than 20% of the total number of courses).
From July 12 to July 2, 624 exams were held at HSE University with the use of Examus proctoring system. There was some technical trouble during some of the exams. For instance, mass failures were reported on June 11 and 22. On average, nearly 80% of students did not run into any technical problems during their proctored exams.
Technical support team of the HSE Proctoring Centre tried to respond to emerging technical problems promptly. In case of technical failure, an alternative exam date was scheduled (there are 39 such re-scheduled exams in total). Students who were not able to take an exam due to a technical malfunction also had the opportunity to reschedule it for the Fall semester.
