I went home for the duration of the lockdown and now want to come back to the dorm. Is isolation at Voronovo obligatory for me?

Yes, it is. The epidemiological situation is still far from perfect in some regions, so the university’s COVID-19 prevention task force decided to continue the policy of isolation at Voronovo for students who leave the dorms for longer than 48 hours.

If I have had been checked for COVID-19, and the test is negative (I’m not sick), can I check in to my room at the dorm without isolation?

In order to check in the dorm after a long (over 48 h) leave, the student can submit a negative result of COVID-19 test (SARS-CoV-2, PCR) within two days after they get the result. The tests should be done in Moscow or Moscow region.

If the certificate is submitted in time, the student can move into the dorm without isolation at Voronovo Centre.

Students can also avoid isolation at Voronovo is they provide a positive test for IgG antibodies.

I would like to take my belongings from the dorm. How much time will I have?

Following the task force directive, students who check out of the dorms can visit them once from 9 am to 5 pm. They will be banned from visiting other HSE dorms during this time.

My employer is require that the staff return to the offices, and I have to come back to Moscow, but I can’t spend two weeks isolated at Voronovo. What am I supposed to do?

Following the task force directive, the university will help the students who are isolated at Voronovo Centre. First Vice Rector Alexander Shamrin and Vice Rector Vladimir Samoylenko are ready to send the appropriate letters to employers and negotiate with them the opportunity to extend the home office mode for the time the student is accommodated at Voronovo.
