Keeping pace with the times, The HSE Design Lab has released a new piece of HSE gear that is both functional and unique to HSE: crow-themed masks. The task was to play with the university mascot – The Crow – and make following the mask requirement fun.
Fashion graduates of the Art and Design School decided to use the masks in the online fashion show of their graduation collections for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Moscow. In the new reality of social distancing, a mask has become an essential part of our image, so the concept has become a natural part of the show’s theme – Color of the New World.
‘Of course, we are happy that our funny beaked masks have made it into the world of fashion, and this is recognition that the masks have passed the podium trial,’ said Natalia Logutova, Deputy Head of the HSE Art and Design School.
Today, beaked masks are on sale and available to anyone at BookVyshka, the university book shop. You also have a chance to win one! Follow the contest announcements on HSE’s official social media pages.
