Dmitry Bondar Appointed Senior Director of Digital Transformation

Effective January 2021, Dmitry Bondar has been appointed to the position of Senior Director for Digital Transformation, and Alexey Chukarin has been appointed Advisor to the Rector. He will be responsible for the Digital University development strategy.

Dmitry Bondar will continue to ensure that the digitalization processes of HSE University are completed at a swift pace while devoting particular attention to increasing the level of internal expertise and the quality of operations and services within the Digital Office. The previously established plan for transitioning to new digital products will be preserved, and once it is fully implemented, more attention will be given to university-wide operations and in order to increase confidence in HSE University’s digital transformation project.

Mr. Bondar holds a degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Kazan Federal University (2002). Before coming to HSE, he worked for 17 years in education, at Kazan Federal University, going from technician to Head of the Department of Informatization and Communication. He also taught at Kazan Federal University for over 10 years. From 2014 to 2020, he held executive positions in commercial IT companies, including information systems developers and integrators.
