On-Site Events Are Returning to HSE University

Visits to university dorms are also allowed again

@ Daniil Prokofiev

The HSE COVID Task Force has decided to allow on-site events at HSE University (academic symposiums, conferences, workshops, administrative events, etc.) for up to 50 participants. Mask-wearing and social distancing are still obligatory.

The Task Force has also approved unrestricted visits to university dorms by HSE university students. This means that HSE students can visit their classmates even if they don’t live in the dorm themselves. Entry to dorms for non-HSE students is still not allowed.

HSE University has also removed the requirement on obligatory remote working for 30% of employees.

Starting from September 1, all staff members previously transferred to remote working due to the pandemic will resume working on-site, except for those who, at the discretion of their department head, will continue working from home or start working from home on September 1, 2021. This applies to all employees, including those aged 65 and over, as well as to those with illnesses and conditions listed by the Moscow Department of Health.

Department heads will determine which staff members will work from home, and will send a list of such employees to the HR Director via the online document management system by August 31, 2021 in order to process the relevant HR documents.
