HSE University Shortens Mandatory Isolation Period after Contact with COVID-19 Patients

The decision was made in line with new official regulations

The HSE University Anti-COVID Task Force has shortened the self-isolation period for students and staff who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients to 7 days only (instead of 14 days) from the date of contact with the patient.

Students and staff who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 must stay in quarantine until they are fully recovered and their sick leave has ended.

Students and staff who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients and have been ill or vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last six months don’t need to self-isolate if they have no symptoms (a negative PCR test and a certificate from a medical organization can be submitted as confirmation).
