Centre for Psychological Counselling to Organise Mental Help School

Students will learn the basics of pre-counselling peer support

The Mental Help School will be a pre-counselling peer support winter school for HSE University students who are willing to become part of the HSE Emotional Support Community. If you would like to support others and learn to do it properly, apply before December 10.

The school will take place from January 8–10 at the Voronovo study centre.

The pre-counselling peer support classes will teach students to establish emotional contact, provide emergency psychological counselling, find the right words when someone feels bad, help verbalise the problem, and use active listening.

All students, no matter their background, are welcome to participate.
