VTB Launches 30th-Anniversary HSE University Bank Card

© Mikhail Dmitriev/ HSE University

Staff and students of HSE University-Moscow can obtain a VTB MIR card with a design commemorating the 30th anniversary of the university’s establishment. The promotion began on November 23.

Any staff member, undergraduate or post-graduate student in Moscow can receive the card by completing the online form in their MyHSE Services Account (it is not possible to apply for this card in branches of VTB Bank).

New staff members and students whose salaries or bursaries are paid to a university-issued VTB card during the promotional period will automatically receive a card with the new design. Students and staff whose salary or bursary is paid to another bank can also apply for the anniversary VTB card and, if desired, have their bursary or salary sent to the new card.

It takes up to ten days for the cards to be issued. Applicants will receive an SMS/push notification once the card is ready for collection. It is also possible to check the status of the card in your VTB online account or banking app.

The cards will be issued in Moscow at VTB Bank’s branches on 28 Ulitsa Pokrovka, Bld. 1 (for staff and doctoral students) and 37a Ulitsa Novaya Basmannaya (for students).

When collecting the card, please bring your passport. Foreign citizens must bring their passport, migration card, registration, and a notarised translation of their passport (if there is no translation in the passport itself).

If you have any questions about ordering the anniversary bank card, please email the Visual Communications Unit.

If you have changed your passport while studying, please check that the passport information provided to VTB Bank is still up to date and inform them of any changes if necessary. You can do this by visiting a branch of the bank with your new passport or by updating your personal information in your account in the mobile banking app (see below for Russian-language instructions).
