HSE University Recruits Student Ambassadors
The International Admissions Office is launching a new Student Ambassador project. All HSE University students can join the effort to recruit international students.
For many years, HSE University has been one of the most popular universities both in Russia and the world for international students. In the last five years, students from almost every country in the world have applied to the university. This is in no small part due to the efforts of HSE students, who offer advice and continue to recommend the university and its programmes to their friends, colleagues, acquaintances and family members.
Ambassadors are HSE students who know everything and more about the university and are ready to share their knowledge and experience with prospective applicants. They can give helpful advice and tips on applying to the university, what to expect from studies and living in Russia, and what it means to be an HSE University student.
In addition to learning more about how HSE University attracts students from all over the world, the programme is an opportunity for ambassadors to make new friends and improve their CVs. What is more, the top ambassadors will earn special bonuses for participating in the programme.

Ambassador programmes are widely known around the world and are implemented not only at universities, but in leading companies in various industries. Often, ambassadors are themselves members of the target audience, but those who already have some experience. In our case, this means experience of applying to and studying at HSE University that they can share with their peers.
International applicants always want to know what it means to be an HSE student, and they want first-hand answers to many other questions. And the best way to tell them about this is through personal communication with HSE University students—our ambassadors.
Being an ambassador is a big responsibility, and interacting with international applicants is a complex process full of nuances. But our ambassadors aren’t left to face difficulties on their own! In addition to holding educational and informative events for ambassadors, we are always ready to provide them any necessary support and to answer any questions they may have.
