Even after graduating, you have an opportunity to feel part of the student community. All HSE employees can take part in the ‘Student Night 2023’ festival, which will be held on the night of January 24–25. The organisers shared the most interesting sites, which are open to HSE University students, staff, and guests alike.
HSE students have many talents and skills that they will be happy to share with guests of the festival. Learn to take professional photos using a smartphone camera, try your hand at DJing, acting and dance improvisation, attend master classes on inventing games for children and the French language.
On the third floor of the library, student organisations and invited speakers will talk about how to get enough sleep, what charity projects you can take part in, and other important topics. For example, representatives of the VOVA family metamarketing agency will talk about virtual reality in the online space, while the publishing house Eksmo will share tips on writing your own book.
In addition to HSE DANCE workouts, the Just Dance cover studio is preparing master classes in the popular K-pop style, ballroom dancing, and even a fitness workout from Olympic champion Yana Kudryavtseva.
If you feel like relaxing, you can enjoy a live performance of Hans Zimmer's melodies from the HSE Orchestra, watch Russia's first stand-up show about books and theatrical musicals from the HSE Theatre, and listen to heartwarming songs from the HSE Guitarnik group.
This is only part of the extensive ‘Student Night 2023’ programme. Participants can also take part in lots of games, quizzes, a detective quest on Pokrovka and, of course, an unforgettable afterparty DJ set in the atrium.
‘Student Night 2023’ is an opportunity to return to your student life and take a fresh look at your workplace, learn about student organisations, and have a nice evening with your colleagues.
The festival starts at 8 pm on January 24 and will last until 6 am on January 25. Registration is available via the link. You can also follow the programme in the VKontakte group (in Russian).
