Director of the Centre for Strategic Forecasting at HSE ISSEK
The National Centre of Scientific, Technological, and Socioeconomic Forecasting is a strategic project implemented as part of HSE University’s Development Programme. The goal of the project is to develop, test, and scale up effective tools for long-term forecasting. Such tools will help build a foundation for evidence-based policy and management decision-making.
This goal is particularly relevant in the current circumstances, in which the high level of uncertainty makes it impossible to use traditional econometric models. In light of this, the managing committee of the strategic project has announced the open selection of projects aimed at improving the quality of forecasting in conditions characterised by the acute transformation of established international economic, political, cultural and other ties.
