Green HSE and ‘Chisty List’ (‘Blank page’) student organisations invite everyone to give things a second life. The programme includes a swap of clothes and accessories, bookcrossing, and a hand-made collage workshop.

Workshop ‘Advertising in the Academic World’

Advertising has penetrated our everyday life, and its influence on the audience is not a surprise to anyone. However, have you ever thought that advertising can play a crucial role in academia as well? We’re inviting you to the workshop 'Advertising in the academic world.' We will discuss the features of the genre, the characteristics of the language used in advertisements and will create a text to promote your programme, lab, or department.

Speaker: Yulia Chanturidze, Ph.D., associate professor at HSE University. She has been teaching English there since 2013. She is also an instructor at the HSE Academic Writing Center, an author of self-study materials for researchers, and organiser of extracurricular activities.

ScienTech Fair

The event combines the traditional MIEM Technoshow, a ChallengeFest for students and staff, and a mock contest of near-scientific (orthonormal) reports ‘Living Water’.

The Technoshow will feature 30 of the most interesting MIEM projects in the field of VR/AR, security, video technologies, business solutions and research. ChallengeFest will include four contests dedicated to science and modern technologies: ‘The Most Beautiful Formula’, ‘MIEM through the Eyes of a Neural Network’, "Heart to Heart with GPT Chat’ and ‘Living Water’.

Film Workshop ‘History of Polish Cinema’

The film "The Law and the Fist" (1964) will be screened and discussed.

Children’s Art Exhibition

(June 1-3, works are accepted until May 30)

Children of employees and students from 3 to 14 years old can take part in the exhibition. The theme of the drawing / DIY work is free. To participate, you need to register and hand in the work to children daycare rooms on Pokrovka or Staraya Basmannaya. The participants of the exhibition will receive gifts from HSE University.

GSB Summer Fest’23

On June 4, the Graduate School of Business holds an open-air Summer Fest’23 at HSE University on Shabolovka.

The festival programme features an open microphone concert, awarding ceremony of the best-achieving students, a student organisations' fair, the finals of a 3×3 streetball tournament, lectures, master classes, various creative, sports and charity activities, graffiti, Just Dance and many other interactive events. In the evening a disco party will be held. Those who don’t feel like dancing are invited to a movie night.

Donor Week

(June 5-9)

HSE Centre for Leadership and Volunteer Work invites everyone to take part in the donation campaign, join the bone marrow donor registry, as well attend lectures by charity experts, meet student communities developing the donor movement, play games and quizzes and win prizes.
