Award for Outstanding Alumni Returns

The HSE Alumni Centre is relaunching an award for outstanding graduates of HSE University, including a special category for international alumni. Students, staff members and graduates of the university are welcome to nominate their alumni candidates until November 30.

The HSE Alumni Award has been given annually since 2007. Its winners are professionals in culture, media, businesses, charity, and public service. The tradition was interrupted due to the pandemic, but in 2023, an updated version is coming back with new areas of studies and careers for HSE alumni.

To be eligible for nomination, candidates must be graduates of HSE University’s bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, MBA or CPD programmes at any campus in any year, with outstanding achievements that took place in 2020–2023. Awards will be given in 14 categories:

• Person of Science
• Private Business
• Corporate Business
• Public Service
• Philanthropist
• Best Mentor (HSE Alumni Mentorship Programme)
• Humanitarian Aid and Personal Social Responsibility
• Person of Culture and Arts/Media
• International Leadership
• Iron Man
• Digital Leadership
• Breakthrough of the Year
• The Connecting Link
• For Special Achievements in Career and Public Life Among Foreign Alumni of HSE University

Applications are accepted through November 30, after which they will be evaluated by expert juries. A university-wide vote for shortlisted nominees will take place from December 15 to February 4. An award ceremony will be held and broadcast live on February 16. The winning alumni will get a statuette and souvenirs.
