With temperatures in Moscow consistently below zero, some students may struggle to find appropriate winter attire. Meanwhile, other students are willing to share items that are no longer needed but occupying space in their closets.

The HSE Department of Internationalisation, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economic Sciences, is launching a pilot Share and Wear project in the form of a share shop. This is a place where students can obtain warm clothes and shoes for free to prepare for the Russian winter.

Anyone willing to share their items is welcome to visit Room L511 or D626 at 11 Pokrovsky Bulvar. The project accepts outdoor clothes (jackets, coats), winter and demi-season shoes, sweatshirts, hoodies, and jumpsuits. Please ensure that the items you bring are clean, undamaged, and suitable for further use.

Share shop at L511 is open from November 21 to December 14 on a following schedule:

  • Tue 2–6 pm
  • Wed 10 am—2 pm
  • Thu 2–6 pm

If you have questions, please contact the Support and Career Centre for International Students and Alumni via email at istudents.support@hse.ru.
