Tatyana Vasilyeva has been appointed as the new Vice Rector for applied scientific research at HSE University. She previously served as Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation and worked at the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia as well as the Moscow Department of Education.
Tatyana Vasilyeva is a seasoned professional in the field of education and management. She holds a degree in history education from the Belinsky Penza State Pedagogical University. After completing her studies, Tatyana Vasilyeva began her career as a teacher at Penza's Secondary School No. 76.
She later progressed to professional positions in government, holding various roles at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and eventually becoming Head of the Coordination Directorate and Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Education.
Since May 2020, Tatyana Vasilyeva has been serving as Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation.
