were raised for The Lighthouse children’s hospice during the HSE’s ‘Heroes among Us’ charity fair and the preceding Good Deed Month.
This money will be spent on a special stroller for 6-month-old Stesha, who has Patau syndrome, a rare incurable genetic condition.
In addition to that, presents and useful everyday items for 250 people living at a care facility for seniors in Klin have been collected as part of the Good Deed Month. On March 4th, HSE volunteers delivered two boxes of clothes, two boxes of medicine and personal hygiene products, two thermo pots, a box with board games and crossword puzzles, a lot of books and signed postcards. The volunteers also organized a small concert and a postcard-making workshop.
A blood donation rally also took place as part of the Good Deed Month. This time, 41 individuals donated blood as part of the event.
