The new secure cloud service HSE.Disk for the University’s employees can help you to synchronize data on your work PC with your home computers and mobile devices.
Many of us sometimes feel like working at home, on the go or while abroad. But what can we do if the necessary files are on the hard disk of our office computers? We now have an answer — a new cloud service called HSE.Disk, which will make your work files available from multiple devices, including any device with an Internet connection. This service differs from similar cloud file storage systems, as it is hosted on HSE servers and the data is not available to third parties. Furthermore, you will be able to share files and folders with other HSE staff or set up temporary access to colleagues from other organizations.
We have put together several videos (in Russian) that will help you to learn more about this new service, use simple tutorials and install the service on your work and home computers, as well as your mobile devices. If you still don’t have access to install programmes on your work computer, you may create a request at HSE BPM, so that the managers of the HSE Office of Information Technology can install the programme for you.
