Short-listed Nominees for Golden HSE 2018 Announced

The jury has announced the short-listed nominees for the Golden HSE award. Now, it’s the competition Committee’s turn – it will choose the winners, whose names will be announced on November 27 at the awards ceremony (below are the instructions on how you can get there).
Last year, the competition received 355 applications, which set a record number at that time. But this year, this record has been broken: 378 people have been nominated for the award by the HSE community.
On November 15, short-listed nominees in 7 categories and sub-categories have been announced. Their names are published on the Golden HSE website*.
The contest committee, which has been approved by the HSE Rector, will choose the winners. The list of the committee members is also available on the award website.
The winners in all categories, as well as the winners of the Golden Link award, will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place on the university’s birthday, November 27, at MIR banquet hall (11 Tsvetnoy Bulvar, Building 2, Moscow). The ceremony will start at 7pm, while the welcome reception kicks off at 6pm.
HSE staff will be able to attend the ceremony providing they have tickets.
How can I get a ticket?
- Members of the Academic Council, Rector’s Council, and the Board of Tenured Professors can get tickets at Professors’ Club (20 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, Room 300), on November 16 and 19, from noon to 7pm;
- Other employees can pick up tickets at the Professors’ Club (20 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, Room 300), on November 21, 22 and 23, from noon to 7pm. Please note that the number of tickets is limited, and it’s one ticket per person. We will send a message via email when we run out of tickets;
- Award nominees and jury members will get e-invitations via email. Their names will be on the listed of invited guest and they will simply have to say their names at the entrance.

*Please be reminded that the winners in the Silver Nestling category are chosen in one rounds, which means that their names are already known, but will be kept under wraps until November 27.
