On April 4th, 2016, the 14th Spacecraft Charging Technology Conference took place in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Vladimir Saenko, Professor at MIEM School of Electronic Engineering, presented a report on ‘External and Internal Spacecraft Charging Effects and Mitigation Techniques. Russia’s Approach’.

On April 6th, 2016, students from Tilburg University, participants of the Outreaching Honors Programme for outstanding Bachelor's students who aspire to apply their knowledge and skills to solve social issues, visited HSE in Saint Petersburg.

On March 8-9 the forum ‘Communication on Top — Davos’ brought together best world specialists in communication studies.

Elena Omelchenko, Yana Krupets, and Guzel Sabirova came back from Helsinki with good news. Their trip has expanded the framework for cooperation with colleagues from Finland.

The international symposium, held by SERU (Student Experience in the Research University) International Consortium on January 18, was sponsored by the University of California, Berkeley, the HSE Institute of Education, and Tongji University, which hosted the event. SERU-International Managing Director and IoE leading researcher Igor Chirikov took part in the event, which united over 50 representatives of universities in China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Russia and the United States.

Anastasia Preobrazhenskaya, doctoral student of the School of Philology took part in a joint project between HSE, Saint Petersburg State University, the University of Cologne and the University of Warsaw.

On September, 8 th  the HSE St Petersburg’s History Department opened a new Summer School on 'The Topography of Imperial Power: the Political Space of St. Petersburg'.

Students of the HSE campus in Perm who studied on the joint master’s programme with the University of Essex have been awarded their Master of Science degrees.

On August 3rd-8 th  2015, a working group from the International Research Project ‘Comparative Historical Studies of Empire and Nationalism’ took part in the ICCEES Congress in Japan.

Albina Manikeeva, HSE graduate in economics, is vice president for finance at AIESEC, an international student organization. She spoke to us about the opportunities to participate in international study exchange programmes, and professional and social internships.

In late June an official delegation from HSE St. Petersburg comprising Sergey Kadochnikov, Alexander Semyonov, Tatyana Alexeeva, Elena Rogova and Christopher Gerry visited Turin university, where they signed an agreement on cooperation.

ECOSUD 2015, the 10 th  International Conference on Ecosystems and Sustainable Development, has taken place in Valencia. HSE St Petersburg was represented by Tatyana Grishchenko, Assistant Professor at the St Petersburg School of Economics and Management and academic supervisor of its management programme.
