Yuri Norstein, the renowned Russian animation director, is probably best known for his iconic animation film Hedgehog in the Fog. A new exhibition at Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center offers an extensive overview of the works created by him together with his wife and partner, artist Francesca Yarbusova. The project celebrates Yuri Norstein’s 80th birthday.

The exposition ‘Osip Mandelstam – End of the Road’ located in the HSE building at 20 Myasnitskaya Street in Moscow reconstructs the final 11 weeks of the poet’s life and profiles many of his contemporaries.

Twelve photographs of Moscow landmarks and skyline made in summer by Johnson Chow Chun Shing, an intern at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, are currently on display at Shabolvoka building. Participants of the Autumn School "Modern Trends in Decision Theory" were invited to the gala opening and were the first guests of the exhibition. The Faculty of Economic Sciences' Dean, Oleg Zamulin welcomed the guests, and, together with the International Laboratory of Decision Choice and Analysis Head Professor Fuad Aleskerov cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

On November 16th-21 st , works by festival participants will be exhibited on the fourth floor of HSE Campus on 38 Studencheskaya Ulitsa.

A photo exhibition ‘Faces of War’, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of World War II has opened at HSE – Nizhny Novgorod. The exhibition includes about 200 unique photographs from private collections and various archives in the USA, Germany and the USSR, showing the battle scenes from the European, Eastern, African and Pacific theatres of war.
