Information on the inclusion of activities aimed at attaining national objectives for the development of the Russian Federation into the HSE University Development Programme for the period until 2030
Areas of activity of National Research University Higher School of Economics (hereinafter the “University”, or “HSE University”) are consistently focused on achieving national objectives defined in Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation No. 204 “On Russia’s National Goals and Strategic Objectives Through 2024”, dated May 7, 2018, and No. 474 “On Russia’s National Development Goals Through 2030”, dated July 21, 2020.
The Development Programme of National Research University Higher School of Economics, approved by resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 3333-r, dated November 25, 2021 (hereafter the “Development Programme”), lists the following measures intended to ensure HSE University’s significant input into the implementation of national goals, taking into account all arising challenges and opportunities, i.e.:
- retaining the population, preserving the health and well-being of people, as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment in the context of meeting tasks with respect to maintaining social stability and making contributions on the part of HSE University to the development of the educational system of the Russian Federation, cooperation between the University and society (activities provided for in clauses 4-9, 13-15, 36, and 39 of Annex 1 to the Development Programme);
- providing opportunities for self-realization and development of talents in the context of meeting tasks with respect to ensuring the global competitiveness of Russian education and forward-looking development of Russia’s S&T potential, as well as upgrading the University’s educational activities (activities provided for in clauses 1 - 5, 7 - 18, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 32, and 34 - 36 of Annex 1 to the Development Programme);
- providing for decent jobs, effective work and successful enterprise in the context of developing a system for the commercialization of technologies and support for innovation (activities provided for in clauses 1 - 5, 7 - 16, 18, 19, and 36 of Annex 1 to the Development Programme);
- digital transformation and implementation of the digital university model (activities provided for in clauses 1 - 8, 13, 14, 16 - 20, 22, and 24 - 26 of Annex 1 to the Development Programme).
