Workshop in Berlin
Due to the spread of coronavirus infection, the "Regional Studies Workshop", organized by the International Laboratory 'Russia’s Regions in Historical Perspective' in collaboration with the Russian and East European Institute (REEI) at Indiana University in Bloomington, will be postponed to September 2020. Three members of the Laboratory will participate in the Workshop: the head of the laboratory - Ekaterina Boltunova, a researcher of the laboratory - Galina Egorova and an intern - Erofei Moryakov. Galina Egorova will present a paper called "The Soviet Young on Orthodox Believers: Nikita Khrushchev’s Anti-Religious Campaign in the Soviet Provinces", while Erofei Moryakov will talk about "Serfs’ Representations about Regions in the Russian Empire of the Late 18th Century".
