Labor costs for assessing productivity in Russian statistics. Experience of Russia KLEMS

The event, which took place on January 21, 2020, presented the methodology for calculating the number of hours worked for Russia KLEMS 1995-2016 for 34 types of activities of the Russian classification of economic activities (OKVED) and their accuracy.

Official statistics publish the relevant data within the production boundaries of the SNA, starting from 2003 for each OKVED classification. The detailing of this indicator to the level of 34 types of activities and the retrospective calculation up to 1995 were presented at the seminar. The work is part of a project to create a Russian text of the Russia KLEMS methodology.
