Payment period: September 1 – August 31 of the awarded academic year

Preliminary candidacy requirements

• Under 35 years of age
• Russian citizen
• Outstanding academic performance

Application deadline — August

Selection procedure     

The competition takes place without the participation of the student. The university's Academic Council presents the Russian Ministry of Education with a list of candidates the HSE believes to have made a significant contribution to science. The Ministry of Education then makes a final decision.

Grounds for early scholarship termination

• Failure of student to carry out his or her academic plan
• Absence of student due to business trip aboard for more than a year
